Zack and Cloud Water Babies

YAY! I finally finished this~~~! I've been working on this off and on for a bit. Like a month or so. Anyway, the older generation might get this adorable reference, but the younger generation might not understand what the heck this is a parody of.

Coppertone Suntan lotion has a line called "Water Babies" made for babies and children to protect their skin. It's been around for YEARS and they have this really memorable logo of a puppy tugging on a little girl's swimsuit, and her little bum is showing. Simply cute!

Nowadays, the little girl doesn't have so much of her bum showing due to...well...people probably freaking out over it, but I wanted to draw it close to the original one. So that's why Cloud's rump is showing so much. Not sure if the mature filter is needed for a baby butt, but whatever. I originally had it on, but then figured it would be okay. And of course, Zack being "the puppy" only makes sense for him to be the puppy in the painting!

So yeah. I hate palm trees. With a passion. They gave me SUCH a hard time painting that I wanted to pull my hair out. FREAKING PALM TREES. I DON'T EVER WANT TO PAINT ANOTHER ONE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE EVER AGAIN.

I actually had the idea to paint this two days before had a contest for a summer/vacation/holiday theme, so this is my entry for 's contest! Wish me luck~~!

I love how Cloud is a little tub-tubs in this...>W< He has such a cute little baby chubby body it's freaking adorable, I gotta say. Oh. And I hate palm trees. I know, I already said that, but Imma gonna say it again.

Sooo this was done in Adobe Photoshop CS3 from start to finish with using my Wacom Bamboo tablet. Reference picture obvious what this is a parody of!
